The Provost Municipal library is now part of the Parkland Regional Library System. Patrons can now access books, magazines, audio and video tapes from any library throughout Alberta. The requested items can be picked up at the Provost Municipal Library as soon as they are available, usually in one weeks time.
There are approximately 9000 titles in the librarys own collection! Do you know that your local library provides much more than just leisure reading materials? There is also a large collection of childrens and young adults books, craft and hobby books, recipe books and reference materials including copies of most Community History Books from within the district. Talking tapes and videos are also available.
The Library holds an annual Childrens Story Hour each Monday (except statutory holidays) from 9:30 - 10:30 am for ages 3 - 5 from autumn to spring. Activities include crafts, music, read-a-loud story time, snacks and singing. To register your children, please call the library at 780-753-2801.
There are also three computers that provide FREE Internet service. These computers have been provided courtesy of Industry Canadas Community Access Program,
