Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) strives to enhance, strengthen and stabilize family and community life.  We help people to develop independence and strengthen coping skills, and to develop interpersonal and group skills which enhance relationships.

FCSS provides a range of preventive social programs to aid individuals, families and groups in improving and enhancing their quality of life and to assist them in developing personal and community resources.

We offer no-fee, confidential Counselling service; programs designed to address the needs of Seniors; income-based Home Support assistance; facilitation of special Community Programs; and deliver an outreach program of the Wainwright Parent Link Centre.

FCSS dedicated staff provides, administers or assists with services throughout the Town and MD of Provost.  We encourage and promote cooperation and coordination in the development of stronger communities, citizen participation, local decision-making and volunteerism.

Provost & District FCSS is a member agency of the FCSS Association of Alberta.
The purpose of the association is to support member agencies and to serve as a link
to the provincial Alberta Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
