Seniors On The Move Fun & educational monthly day trips from May to October for seniors 60+ Seniors On The Move 2012 Day Trip Schedule
2012 Day Trips will begin in May, 2012
Some locations might change, please check back for updates. 2011 seniors trips were extremely successful and the seniors really enjoyed the outings. Highlights included trips to Fort George and Buckingham House, the Wainwright Army Camp, Alberta Central Railway Museum, Reptile World, the Reynolds Museum, and Barr Colony Heritage Cultural Center. 2010 was a wonderful year for our new Seniors’ pilot program and our trips were very successful. The trip to the Hutterite Colony in Castor, as well as the Ukrainian village, were the highlights for 2010. The seniors enjoyed them and are all geared up for 2011. We’re expecting 2011 to be even more exciting and fun for seniors in our community. While Provost Adult Learning and Literacy attempts to provide these day trips to our seniors at no charge, we are asking that seniors pay for their own meals. Transportation and admission to events will still be covered by EEOC. If you would like to go on a Senior’s Day Trip, call the office at 780-753-2822 and register, and ask to be put on a waiting list if the current trip is full. There are limited seats available, and they go very quickly. |
