International Adult Learners’ Week — March 1-7, 2010

Canada will join 40 countries worldwide in celebrations of Adult Learners’ Week.  This week is a worldwide event that celebrates the achievements of adult learners and promotes the importance of lifelong learning.

Adult Learners’ Week is a chance to celebrate successes and promote the importance of lifelong learning and lifelong literacy.  In 2010, special emphasis will be placed on the theme Living and Learning for a Viable Future—the Power of Adult Learning, which highlights the important contributions of adult learning to sustainable societies.
