Standard First Aid Recertification: Is your certificate about to expire? Why take the whole course over? Take this eight hour course. This course is available to anyone who currently has a valid First Aid Certificate. You must bring your current First Aid Certificate St. John or Red Cross. NOTE: MUST BE TAKEN BEFORE CURRENT CERTIFICATE EXPIRES
Standard First Aid: Injuries can happen at any time, anywhere. This Standard Level First Aid course includes: child/infant resuscitation, wound care, burns, eye injuries, poisons, bites, stings, medical conditions and much more. Course includes book, lessons and final exam. Date: Sat/Sun Oct 2 & 3 Time: 8:30 am — 5:30 pm (Both days) Registration: $150
Home Alone Safety: This is an interactive safety training program for youth ages 10+. (Younger siblings 7+ may attend and register also). This program prepares our youth for Home Alone Safety. Being home alone can be an uncomfortable and unsafe situation without some basic skills. Safety, first aid and comfort skills are covered in this course through interactive games and role playing. Let’s work to keep our children safe and confident. Date: Sat Oct 16 Time: 10 am - 12 noon Registration: $35

Standard Child Care First Aid: This First Aid course is required for child care providers according to Alberta Family Services. It is the recommended First Aid course for all persons who work with children. Course includes book, lessons and final exam. Date: Sat/Sun Nov 13 & 14 Time: 8:30 am — 5:30 pm (Both days) Registration: $150
Food Safety: ONLINE COURSE (NAIT): FNM90 Combine the skills you bring to the table with certification in product and workplace safety. Whether you work in a commercial kitchen, production plant or restaurant, you will benefit fro learning guidelines and procedures for keeping your work area clean, sanitized and safe for others. Food safety courses will also prepare you for government regulated certification and will often satisfy employer requirements. Women’s Self Defense: With Marc Geestman. Learn realistic self defense skills in a safe environment. Learn how to train your intuition, and how to use fear as a weapon. This class has been run in Canada, USA, Japan and the Netherlands, and with great reviews all around. We have had students aged 12 to 63. We will go over how to use items in your purse for self-defense purposes, awareness training, body weapons, confidence building and predator behaviour.
