GED Prep: 12 week Online Course: Norquest College A tutor is available online to students at no cost, both during the day and evening, but must be booked ahead of time. No formal pre-requisite; however, grade 10 greading and math skills are recommended. Grading is Complete/Incomplete. Credits (Academic): 3:00. Simply Accounting Level I: This computer accounting program can be used for home and small business needs. Students will be exposed to all applications of Simply Accounting by use of examples and hands-on experience. All introductory accounts payable and receivable, project distribution, and payroll functions will be covered. Students should be familiar with basic accounting principles and comfortable with computers. Book included in fee. (18 Hours) Certificate of Completion. Date: Taking names Time: TBA Fee: $150
Bookkeeping: This basic bookkeeping program will teach you the basics and prepare you to work with computer accounting programs. “Computer Tutor” Drop In: Open-to-the-public computer lab and 1-on-1 computer tutoring to the community. Coaching and assistance in basic computer literacy, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email, Facebook and using the Internet. No appointment is necessary. Dates: Tuesdays Time: 1:30—3:30 PM Dates: Fridays Time: 9:30—11:30 AM Cost: There is no cost, but donations are always appreciated.

This course is available to anyone who currently has a valid First Aid Certificate. You must bring your current First Aid Certificate St. John or Red Cross. NOTE: MUST BE TAKEN BEFORE CURRENT CERTIFICATE EXPIRES
Standard First Aid: Injuries can happen at any time, anywhere. This Standard Level First Aid course includes: child/infant resuscitation, wound care, burns, eye injuries, poisons, bites, stings, medical conditions and much more. Food Safety: ONLINE COURSE (NAIT): FNM90 Combine the skills you bring to the table with certification in product and workplace safety. Whether you work in a commercial kitchen, production plant or restaurant, you will benefit fro learning guidelines and procedures for keeping your work area clean, sanitized and safe for others. Food safety courses will also prepare you for government regulated certification and will often satisfy employer requirements.
